A Closer Look at our pod campers

Pod campers are a newer product making a splash in the camping world. Their combination of light weights, compact design & size make them one of the easiest options for those new to towing.
Another major appeal is their fast setup time. All you need to do is drop your jockey wheel & stabilisers.
Pods are fantastic for road tripping too as your bed is always ready for you.
Let’s take a closer look at our pod campers.

The basic Design

Pod Campers consist of a main cabin with the bed & some storage inside, then all your other amenities outside. This includes cookers, sinks extra storage, awnings etc.
This setup is ideal for those who particularly like being outside when camping. With these amenities outside, having awnings is beneficial to shield from the sun or rain. All of the Lumberjack pod campers come with an awning included so we’ve got you covered there (pun intended).

Off Road Appeal

The Lumberjack range of pod campers all come with independent suspension & mud terrain tyres as standard. This means they are off road ready when your adventures get serious.
Being part of our Ultra-Light range, our pods are made from a high strength fibreglass composite panel which is both strong & light. Our smallest pod, the Sheoak, has a tare weight of only 1040Kg, so it’s super light to tow.

Model Variations

With the rise of the pod camper, so two rises the number of model available. Lumberjack currently has three pods in our range; the Sheoak, Sorrento & Seville.

Our Sheoak & Sorrento are designed to sleep two people in the main cabin. The Seville is designed to sleep two adults & two children with dual single bunk beds plus a main bed inside the cabin.
For the cooking facilities, the Sheoak has it’s cooker on a slide out unit along with the sink. The Sorrento & Seville feature drop down side cooker units & a separate sink at the rear.

One similarity for all the units is the abundance of storage all throughout them. We have tried to design & improve each model to max the storage on offer so you have space for everything you need.
